One comment on “Does Having Meaning In Your Life Keep You Healthy?

  1. A noble attempt at defining life, with some extreme contradictions thrown in, [Quote: “Just because life is ultimately meaningless doesn’t stop us searching for meaning while we are alive” – unquote] and [quote: “In other words, it’s never too late to start seeking the meaning of life.” – unquote] OK, which is it? If life is ultimately meaningless wouldn’t it be the ultimate futility to seek the meaning of life?

The concept of instilling purpose in one’s life is good, but purpose is a double edged sword. For example, the most “purpose driven” people on earth are certainly the 1%. They know what they want and they go for it and get it – single mindedly and sociopathically and they don’t care who, or what, they have to kill to get it. Then there are those mostly unsung and sadly rather rare heroes of single minded devotion to mankind who choose compassionate service as their life’s purpose.

Before I close this comment, let me say this: I know, for a fact, that no matter who you are, or what you choose to be, life is NEVER meaningless because everything impacts everything else, if for no better reason.
